Landscape Architect, Spackman, Mossop+Michaels, New Orleans and Sydney, Australia http://www.mossopmichaels.com/ http://landscape.lsu.edu/ Elizabeth Mossop is a Principal of Spackman, Mossop+Michaels Landscape Architects and Professor of Landscape Architecture and Director of the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture at Louisiana State University. Prior to taking up this position in 2004, she was Associate Professor and Director of Masters in Landscape Architecture Programs in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design where she was a faculty member from 1999. Her work specializes in the design of the public landscape, parks, urban spaces and infrastructure in Australia and the US. Recent projects include Cook and Phillip Park, Western Sydney Regional Park, Bicentennial Park and the Great Western Highway. Numerous awards, including the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, the Council of Building Design Professions, the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and the Australia Council, have recognized her work. This event is part of the 2009-10 CED Lecture Series. The lectures are free, and all are welcome to attend. |
